2025 Heritage STOL Transient Aircraft Landing

Description

Enjoy the unique opportunity to LAND at the Military Aviation Museum (42VA) alongside historic artifacts from World War I and II! This is the ONLY annual opportunity for GA traffic to land at the museum. Your landing fee supports the conservation efforts of the museum, and includes museum/competition admission for the pilot-in-command. Add additional tickets for any passengers.

Note that all aircraft MUST be registered for in advance and arrivals are only allowed between 9:00am and 6:00pm Thursday-Saturday. We highly recommend you plan to be on the ground before competitor practice on Friday (starting at 12:30pm) and the competition on Saturday (starting at 10:30am), or our airbosses may ask you to hold for a break between heats. All aircraft should depart by 11:00am on Sunday, May 4. Parking is on grass. Be sure to bring tie downs!

If these guidelines do not work for you, please plan to land at Chesapeake Regional Airport and drive to the competition.

Underwing camping is also available for a nightly fee. Once you register to land, visit the camping page and select the number of nights.
