A competitor entry allows you to compete in one of our 6 aircraft classes. Click HERE to enter. All of the event rules can be found HERE.
Travel Information
Parking
Limited on-site VIP parking is available for advance purchase of $25. If space remains the day of the event, VIP parking will increase to $30. This parking can be added on when you purchase your tickets or can be added on HERE.
Off-site parking with provided shuttle service is $15 and can be paid the day of the event. This parking is located approximately 2 miles north of the airport, and the shuttle will run continuously.
Per MN law, there is NO CROSSING STATE HIGHWAYS FOR EVENTS. Therefore, NO PARKING IS ALLOWED in Johnson Portside Bait Shop across the highway from the Airport.
Hotel
For your convenience, National STOL has a room block set up at Izatys Resort, about 10 minutes away from the airport. To receive the discounted rate, please call the Front Desk at (320) 532-4574 and ask for the NATIONAL STOL room block.
Camping
Competitors: You receive one complimentary camping space with your competitor registration. Instructions on how to claim this space will be provided in in your confirmation email.
Camping opens on Thursday, July 6 at 3:00pm and closes on Sunday, July 9 at 3:00pm. Camping is primitive. No hook ups are available; bring your own water and generators! All camping reservations include 2 adult general admission tickets to Saturday’s show.
UNDERWING Camping inside the airfield is reserved and extremely limited.
RV and GENERAL TENT CAMPING will be located approximately 2 miles north of the airport and serviced by a shuttle throughout the weekend.
