Camping begins Thursday and continues through Sunday. Whether you bring your Airplane, RV, or a tent, you can camp in our camping areas. Purchase your ticket for camping on our website. One pass is good for all weekend. If you are going to camp in a tent next to your airplane, you will need the aircraft camping pass. RV, Tent and Car camping are separate and are listed here. At the moment, there are no shower facilities available, but there will be porta-johns available.
We are pleased to announce that we’ve partnered with Fort Worth RV Rentals if you need to rent an RV. We’ve set up a 10% discount code with them, using code STOL10. Real-time availability, information and pictures are available at their website: www.fortworthrvrentals.com or they can be reached by phone #: 817-898-9822. They are also willing to deliver units and set them up, for a fee. This is a great plan if you are arriving with friends!

Bush Air Presents: Wings Accredited STOL Safety Seminar
Friday, March 13th at 6:00-7:00pm
.
We are very excited to have one of the best, “CC” Pocock join us from BUSH AIR on Friday night at 6pm! He’ll also be competing in our competitions! CC is providing a great FAA Safety Team “Wings” accredited seminar, which pilots will receive credit from the FAA for attending! These credits may help reduce insurance rates on pilots airplanes.
In this seminar Bush Air’s CC Pocock will discuss about advanced techniques and procedures for the safe operation of light aircraft during short take off and landing operations.
This 1 hour seminar will include:
- How to explore the slow flight envelope of your aircraft at a safe altitude prior to attempting extreme STOL operations.
- Stall – spin accident prevention.
- How to configure your aircraft for optimum STOL performance.
- Short take-off, stabilized approaches and short landings.
